The Ad Optimizer now supports the creation and management of multi-ASIN campaigns for Sponsored Products and Sponsored Displays.

Campaign Creation

You can now create multi-ASIN campaigns either through the Ad Optimizer creation flow or via bulk import files.

During the campaign creation process in Ad Optimizer you are now able to select whether a single- or a multi-ASIN campaign is to be created.

When using bulk import files, you can add multiple ASINs by separating them with a semicolon to create a multi-ASIN campaign.

All ASINs will be grouped together in one AdGroup. Therefore, we recommend this type for variants such as colors, clothing sizes, and package sizes, or at least for products that are very similar in price and type. Otherwise, targeting and optimization might be impaired.

Campaign Updates

Multi-ASIN campaign product ads can be updated in two ways, either by using bulk import files, or directly by editing the “Items to advertise” section in the Campaign Details.

Within Campaign Details, you can also manage the status of each product using bulk actions such as Enable, Pause, or Archive.

Important for Sellers:
To support the input of multiple ASINs with potentially multiple associated SKUs, the product input format has changed. You must now explicitly associate each ASIN with its SKUs using the “@” symbol. Expressions for different ASINs must be separated with a semicolon.

Example:
 ASIN1@SKU-A@SKU-B; ASIN2@SKU-C
