Scope: 

Delivery Time Insights enables to easily track changes in the delivery time of Amazon.

 

This supports Vendors in pausing / re-starting campaigns based on Amazon Delivery Time 
during COVID-19.

 

Frequency of data collection and data updates:

Based on a daily data collection and update process, Delivery Time Insights Report provides data for current date (today) and the date before (yesterday).

  • Data Collection: Daily

  • Data update in reporting tool: Daily

Use cases:

  1. Identify advertised ASINs, where Amazon holds the Buybox (BB) and has long delivery times


Aim: Pause campaigns to save budget and avoid bad conversion rates due to long delivery times


    Use the following filter settings:

  • Target State = enabled

  • Today Buybox Owner = Amazon

  • Today Amazon Delivery Time = 8+ days (set filter to 8 - …)

    

The report will show you all ASINs that fit these criterias.

You can identify in the column “Campaign Type” in which type of campaign this ASIN is advertised.

  • For ASINs in SPA -> Pause the campaign

  • For ASINs in SBA -> Check the status of the other ASINs contained in the SBA, i.e. if Amazon holds the BB and has long delivery times, too. If yes, you should consider to pause the SBA and setup new ones with shorter delivery times.

Aim: Restart campaigns that were paused due to long delivery times


    Use the following filter settings:

  • Target State = disabled

  • Today Buybox Owner = Amazon

  • Today Amazon Delivery Time <=7 days (set filter to 0 - 7)

    

The report will show you all ASINs that fit these criterias.

You can identify in the column “Campaign Type” in which type of campaign this ASIN is advertised.

  • For ASINs in SPA -> Restart the campaign

  • For ASINs in SBA -> Check the status of the other ASINs contained in the SBA.

If a reasonable amount of ASINs show short lead times and SBA was paused, restart it again.

General Functions of the Report 

  • Clicking on headlines of columns activates sorting (A-Z), clicking again sorts Z-A.

  • Clicking on a certain table field, you can highlight the selected element. Click again to remove the highlighting.

  • Filtering: by clicking the desired value; click again or use the rubber symbol in order to clear filters.

  • Multiple selection in filters: you can select multiple items by pressing "ctrl" on your keyboard and clicking on the items.
